Xenos Axess - PDF Accessibility Solution is an industry first. It is the only offering on the market that enables organizations to capture and transform high-volume print streams into accessible PDF documents using assistive technology, for visually-impaired customers.

Xenos Axess is ideal for financial institutions, governments, and other organizations that are consistently producing high-volume documents such as monthly banking, credit card or investment statements and presenting them online. It enables these organizations to address the needs of an underserved portion of the population – those who have limited or no vision – while reducing the cost and complexities of investing in outsourced services such as Braille and manual PDF tagging.

Typically, people with limited or no vision have few options in terms of dealing with monthly statements (or other transaction-oriented documents). They can:

- Request Braille or large print documents or an audio CD from their provider, which typically entails lengthy delays. These options are also not the preferred vehicle for users with assistive technologies.

- Use assistive technologies such as screen readers and text-only browsers. These solutions are not designed to describe graphs, logos or charts, making it difficult for users to understand the content within PDF documents, if not appropriately tagged.

Xenos Axess is integrated within an organization’s existing enterprise content management (ECM) infrastructure to capture high-volume print streams and transform them into accessible PDF documents for online presentment. With this solution, organizations can ensure that any statement or transaction-oriented document generated can be accessible “on demand” to every customer, reducing the need for outsourced document accessibility services.

Xenos Axess is enabled through features available in Xenos Enterprise Server(TM). Organizations already producing high-volume documents for online presentment can now present them as PDF documents and ensure that they are accessible and usable for all customers.
