The Renow methodology for web standardisation: an example of an effective alliance between User Experience and e-Accessibility

Gautier BARRERE is a Psychologist, User Experience (UX) Strategist and specialist in persuasive design. For over 8 years, he has been implementing UX methods and techniques in governmental agencies. He was responsible for creating the Renow web methodology (www.renow.public.lu) and continues to provide Usability expertise on several strategic web and business application projects in Luxemburg. Since 2009 he has coordinated the "Web & User eXperience" Office of the Luxemburg government which brings together UX specialists, interaction designers, graphic designers, accessibility experts, developers and project managers. In parallel, Gautier is founder of FLUPA, the Franco-Luxemburg branch of User Experience specialists (www.flupa.eu) and a member of the OpenWeb collective.
